Women's Safe House
"When you drive past Atlas or Bole, there are tens of hundreds of girls standing on the roadside and are selling their bodies, to just make a living for their kids. That should frustrate us. For me, when I think about the stats of girls that have been abused at such a young age, my heart breaks... This should give a sense of ‘I cannot sit still’."
Caleb Meakins
At CAMF, we work with women on the streets of Addis. As Caleb articulated, no women should have to risk their safety on the streets and sell their bodies to feed their kids. We know that offering money alone may help temporarily but real-life changes happen when women have a safe place to stay and don’t need to work the streets at night’.

Our project aim to provide a space where these women will learn skills that will help take them off the streets for good and give them a better opportunity for their futures.
